The Whetstone Station’s own in-house experimental nano-brewery produces just 3.5BBL (about 6 kegs) of beer-centric goodness at a time.  They only tap up to three of their own beers at a time and shake up the variety and styles regularly. Each brew is extremely unique and incorporates something that is non-traditional.

“What a fantastic stay!”

What a fantastic stay at Frog Meadow! Stayed here for a few days in October to take in the beautiful colors of Vermont in the Fall. The accommodations were superb and very comfortable, the grounds and gardens picturesque and just far enough from town to make you feel like you have escaped the hustle and bustle (although the Village of Newfane is just a few minutes down the road if you need to get supplies).

The hosts were great, and they prepared a very decent, varied breakfast every morning. Having lived in the area for a long time, they were very helpful in pointing out where to go and what to do in the area. They really made us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. In addition, they went above and beyond to return my credit card which I inadvertently left at the property when I checked out, and went to an enormous amount of effort to re-unite me with my card as I was visiting from overseas and only had a short time to get the card back. My sincere thanks again for their kindness!

I would really highly recommend this place if you need to get a bit of peace and quiet, enjoy the beautiful Vermont countryside and get pampered in the process too!
