Ciderfest! Apple Picking & Cider Making at Frog Meadow Oasis for Men Vermont

Making cider with guest Kelly from NYC

Come to Frog Meadow for our Fabulous Fall Harvest ritual:

  • Help us as we take our apples from our own orchard down the hill to the village of Williamsville to participate in a community cider pressing party!
  • Learn about how sweet apple cider is made and meet some of the locals as we lend a hand to grind the apples into mash & then press the mash into fresh, yummy apple cider!
  • Hear about different methods for making hard cider and enjoy a tasting of our own double-fermented hard cider made from our own apples and the honey from our beehives!
  • Experience an authentic Vermont Apple Pie Festival complete with pies, homemade ice cream, fresh donuts, hot cider, Green Mountain Coffee, Grafton cheese and more!

The CiderFest Apple-Palooza Weekend is full of apple and cider harvest-themed fun including Dave’s fabulous apple waffles and fresh-pressed sweet apple cider at the breakfast table, fall harvest treats at the cider pressing, sweet- and hard-cider tastings, meeting new friends and enjoying community fellowship.

Expect a turnout of 20-25 colorfully dressed attendees from the local Faerie Camp, always a highlight of the day at the Dummerston Apple Pie Festival!

The Apple-Palooza fun continues at the nearby Dummerston Apple Pie Festival where you can choose from 1,500 apple pies made in the nearby historic Dummerston Congregational Church, homemade ice cream, fresh donuts, hot cider, Green Mountain Coffee, and Grafton cheese. Or maybe have some of each! Pies available whole or by the slice. Worship at 9 am on Sunday morning surrounded by pies. Fire Department  Breakfast, Grange Lunch. Expect a turnout of 20-25 colorfully dressed attendees from the local Faerie Camp, always a highlight of the Festival!
