MLK Weekend Jan 18-20 2014
We have blocked out the entire MLK weekend for a Winter Sports Weekend in conjunction with Gay Outdoors (GO), the world's largest gay outdoors club. This is the 3rd year for this fun event! Plan to arrive late afternoon/early evening Friday and stay through Monday afternoon.
The event is limited to a maximum of 14 participants, and usually books up early so book now!
- We will start the weekend on Friday with a fireside welcome and social hour followed by a pizza party (not included in package rate).
- Saturday, Sunday & Monday mornings will start with a full country breakfast. After breakfast each day we’ll break off into groups and decide how we would like to spend the day. There are several options:
- There are over 60 acres with blazed trails for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing at Frog Meadow. A limited amount of snowshoes are available on-site. These trails are ungroomed skier-set track and best for experienced skiers. The terrain is gently sloping to steep with some easier and some more difficult options and is easy to moderate snowshoeing difficulty. The highlight of the trail network is the “Brokeback Cabin”, a small rustic warming hut with beautiful southwest views. There are also a number of roads right out the door that are nit maintained in winter that are great for exploring on snowshoes.
- Frog Meadow is also very close to Mount Snow and Stratton for alpine skiing/boarding
- Prospect Mtn, Grafton Ponds and Wild Wings are all less than an hour's drive from Frog Meadow for groomed XC skiing and XC equipment rentals.
- Grafton Ponds is less than 20 minutes away, has snowmaking and also has a tubing hill!
- Depending on the weather, there is excellent ice skating on the north side of Brattleboro at the Retreat Meadows, a 15 minute drive from Frog Meadow.
Bring Along Your favorite beverages for the weekend and snacks to share on Friday & Saturday nights.
The rate of $335 per person includes 3 nights lodging with full country breakfast each morning, dinner Saturday & Sunday nights and full access to the amenities at Frog Meadow from Friday arrival through Monday departure.
This package price is based on double occupancy (two people per queen or king-size bed); note that a single occupancy option is available for $515 for those who snore or would prefer not to share a bed/room. Reservations: Please sign up for the trip through Gay Outdoors using the following link: Gay Outdoors Events If you are not a GO member you must join to attend. Membership is free and has many benefits!
After you have signed up for the trip on the GO site, please make your reservation directly with Frog Meadow (802.365.7242). This will allow you to the room you prefer and to use a credit/debit card for payment. 50% of the $315 will be due at the time of reservation; the balance is due a week prior to the event. In the event of cancellations, we will keep a waiting list.

AND October 24-26, 2014
Because of the strong turnout for last fall's Heart-Centered Touch Massage Retreat Weekend, we are pleased to have Adam Brown return to Frog Meadow to facilitate two retreats the weekends of May 3-5 and October 24-26!
The Heart-Centered Touch Retreat is limited to 14 so reserve your spot early!
An intimate group of 14 men will explore the power of touch as a transformational and spiritual way of being. Imagine asking for the kind of touch you want and getting it? Imagine learning how to touch with sensitivity, compassion and skill and finding out that it is easy? Imagining practicing how to create and maintain deeper connections with men and finding out we all want the same thing!
This is the essence of Heart-Centered Touch. We teach simple massage skills and different ways to use those skills. We set intentions for ourselves and are supported by the group in doing it. Most of all, we delight in the exploration and in the discovery that touch, sensuality and erotic expression are powerful and enjoyable ways to be alive. In exploring the basic principles of tantra, we discover that pleasure is a valid and true path toward joy and spiritual attunement.
The Heart-Centered Touch Retreat is ideal for couples wanting to add compassionate, sensual touch to their relationships, or singles seeking to connect with men in new ways. As part of the weekend retreat we will rotate partners so that everyone will have the opportunity to work with each other, both giving & receiving touch. There will be plenty of time to practice and to relax and get acquainted. All of us at the retreat form a tribe of heart-centered men, committed to each other's growth and well-being. Our time together is a gift exchange. No prior experience with massage is necessary. Space is limited to 14 so reserve your spot early and save!
Imagine creating and maintaining deeper connections with men and finding out we all want the same thing!
