Work Camp+Fellowship Programs

Come join us for our annual Spring or Fall Work Camp…it’s the all-boys sleep-away camp you wished your parents had sent you to! Frog Meadow Work Camp is 14 days of camaraderie and fun mixed in with indoor and outdoor work as we get Frog Meadow Farm ready for Summer Season or put to bed prior to Winter! Choose to stay for a minimum of 4 nights – or more – or for the whole duration!

For $25* a night, we provide accommodations and Dave’s fabulous country breakfast & a hearty lunch each day. In the evenings we coordinate group dinners with shared responsibilities. In return we ask for 6 hours of work for each night you’re with us at Frog Meadow.

There is trail work, yard cleanup, garden work, spring & fall cleaning around the house, painting, setting up the outdoor furniture, wood stacking, light carpentry, etc. In the evening there is the hot tub and good company!

Do you enjoy gardening and the outdoors? Do you live in the city and miss being able to play in the garden? Then our Late May Garden Fellowship may be just the thing for you!

Think of it as the gay man’s version of the “Fresh Air Fund”.

How it works: Join us for three or more consecutive weekdays during the weeks of May 13th and May 20th (subject to availability) and lend a hand in the gardens for six hours each day, helping us with basic garden, landscaping and other assorted Spring Work Camp tasks. In return you’ll earn a stipend worth the value of your lodging stay (less a $25* per-night administrative fee) plus a full country breakfast, as well as lunch each day while you’re enrolled in the program. In the evening there’s the hot tub and the good company of other Frog Meadow guests & of course your hosts, Scott & Dave!
