Join us for the annual Vermont Symphony Orchestra Concert & Fireworks Under the Stars!

The VSO returns July 3 to the meadows of Grafton Trails on its beloved statewide summer concert tour with “Celebrate!” conducted by Music Director candidate Julian Pellicano. Alongside perennial Pops favorite music by John Williams (Liberty and Olympic Fanfares) and John Philip Sousa (the rousing Stars and Stripes Forever), we’ll enjoy strains of Bernstein’s West Side Story, Copland’s feisty Rodeo, Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Quinn Mason’s sparkling A Joyous Fanfare (described by the composer as “very embodiment of happiness and cheerfulness, an accessible work that would put any listener in a good mood”) and more. VSO Principal Trombonist Matt Wright is our soloist for the concert, which closes this year with a display of festive fireworks.
