Horseback Riding

There are several stables in the area that offer horses for hire, riding lessons and indoor & outdoor riding:

Winchester Stables is right here in Newfane and is a quick 8-minute drive from Frog Meadow

Fresians of Majesty is in nearby Townshend, approximately 15 minutes to the north.

Ridgeview Stables Is just to the east in Putney

Horses for Hire in Peru is 45 minutes to the north

Additionally, several of our neighbors ride and board horses, so you’ll certainly see them as you drive to and from Frog Meadow. Please keep an eye out as you approach Frog Meadow, since horses have the right of way. Thanks!

Frog Meadow Farm Bed & Breakfast and Massage Oasis for Men is a welcoming, non-judgmental place for men of all colors and backgrounds to unwind and shed the trappings of busy modern life.

Situated on 63 beautiful & private acres, Frog Meadow frequently hosts men’s gatherings, workshops and retreats. Hosts Dave & Scott are committed to providing a welcoming environment to re-connect with nature and yourself.

Frog Meadow is only 4 miles from the popular Rock River swimming hole, 10 miles from Brattleboro, VT and 30 minutes Mount Snow & Stratton Mountain ski resorts.

Relax in our spring-fed swimming pond, soak in our wood-fired hot tub, or enjoy our 4-season recreation trails and extensive perennial gardens and orchard!

“Oasis in Vermont”

My husband and I stayed at Frog Meadow over Memorial Day weekend and were so lucky to have had the experience. The owners, Scott and Dave, were warm, friendly and gracious. They made us feel like their home was ours.

The property is stunning. Gardens, pond, trails, flowers, view of the mountains!!!! All amazing, The hot tub can be enjoyed day and night.

The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect!

We have fallen in love with Frog Meadow and it’s owners! We will be back for sure!
