Just Can’t Get Enough!

The fact that this was my fourth stay at Frog Meadow sums up quite adequately my love for this place. The owners have their act down to a science and they know how to make a guest feel welcomed and appreciated. Since I am a repeat guest, my check-in was basically a warm hug from the owners and direct access to my room.

One would think after four trips there would be some deterioration in the quality of the room and the accommodations in general, but there has not been any change, except to get better. The grounds are exceptionally well kept. The garden is lush and colorful and a day reading a book or soaking in the hot tub is relaxing and comforting as you forget the cares of the world.

Since it is a B&B, dinner is not provided, yet Dave and Scott have an extensive list of restaurants to satisfy the varying tastes of their clients. These are two of the most accommodating innkeepers, I have met (and believe me, I have spent a lot of time in B&B’s, hotels and inns in the US and around the world). None of them hold a candle to Scott and Dave. Just keep in mind, although this is a low key inn without all the bells and whistles of a larger establishment, you will meet a wide range of guests of all ages, professions, races, tastes and backgrounds. An evening talking around the hot tub with fellow guests can be more invigorating then an evening at a bar or nighttime gay establishment. Its a feature that has added to my enjoyment and appreciation of this idyllic location in Newfane, Vermont.

Take it from me, Frog Meadow Farm is worth a visit!!
