Embodied Practices guide us to experience a deeper connection with ourselves and with other men…come join us to experience and share this connection!

This will be a very special men’s retreat with two facilitators weaving together three different ways to connect the spiritual dots in your life! Join us for a weekend of exploration using three modalities: Touch, Conscious Breathing and Meditation!
During this 2-night, 3-day weekend integrated retreat, we will learn and practice touch, meditation and conscious breathing. These methods are taught simply and clearly to ensure they are easily accessible. Practice sessions will be built upon and expanded each day, then discussed later among the group to reinforce what has been learned.

You’ll get daily exposure to how these three practices can increase awareness, enhance pleasure and energy circulation. Insights, revelations and expanded consciousness are all benefits you can expect from these practices. You’ll return home with a toolbox of helpful techniques that you can apply to your daily life!

The retreat will consist of intimate group of men living, learning and sharing time together. The benefit of a small group is the opportunity to develop a level of intimacy and connection that is satisfying, enlightening and rewarding!

You can expect daily practice sessions in all three disciplines with ample time for discussions about how to deepen your practice, supplemented by three home-cooked “from-scratch” meals per day. You’ll also enjoy the relaxing and sensual pleasures of Frog Meadow’s wood-fired hot tub and the camaraderie of a weekend spent with like-minded men. Join us for a unique and very special retreat experience for singles and couples alike!

Program Overview:

  • Days will start with morning meditation & stretching followed by breakfast.
  • After breakfast and lunch:
    • Heart-Centered Touch massage instruction and exchange sessions intended to establish and maintain connection with others while cultivating your sensitivity and intuition.
    • You will learn meditation and conscious breathing techniques and ways to immediately implement these skills to become more energy-aware and more sensitive to the nurturing effects of connected breath.
  • During late afternoon, you’ll have free time to relax by the fire in Frog Meadow’s Great Room, work out in the gym, enjoy a nap or soak in the wood-fired hot tub.
  • Evening activities include home-cooked, family-style dinners and group discussions guided by workshop facilitators.

All the activities included at Touch, Conscious Breathing & Meditation Retreat are intended to help you cultivate deeper connections with yourself and other men, a higher degree of awareness and self-expression as well as a sense of the playful spirit of exploration. This is an opportunity to create community in a safe, supportive and spiritually nourishing environment, to share and learn from each other in small and large group facilitated discussions, as well as in separate one-on-one conversations.

The Touch, Conscious Breathing & Meditation Retreat is ideal for men wanting to add compassionate, sensual expression to relationships, whether single or coupled. As part of the program we will rotate partners during massage rounds so that everyone will have the opportunity to work with each other.

We don’t care if you are young or old, black or white, sculpted or sagging. Our retreats are open to all kinds of men: younger…older…buff…and not so buff…we always get a mix. The idea is to be open to all types of men with the common thread being the desire to learn and share the experience of male connection. We take pride in our respectful, supportive, and friendly atmosphere. We are refreshingly free of “attitude”.

Please join us to share our gifts and learn new and lasting skills. No prior experience with massage, conscious breathing or meditation is necessary, and the retreat is open to both singles and couples. Program fees include tuition, delicious meals & accommodations as well as exclusive use of Frog Meadow’s 63-acres of private paradise. The retreat is limited to 12 men. See below for registration details, rates and to register!

About the Facilitators:

AB Headshot_optimizedAdam Brown is a bodyworker and acupuncturist in New York City. His 20 years of private client work and his Taoist training have created a practice that merges his personal and his professional practice into his life’s work. For the last six years, Adam has been leading a weekly massage group for men in New York City called Heart Centered Touch for Men*. He leads workshops and retreats all over the country focused on empowering men by helping them to be more fully embodied.

*Heart-Centered Touch is about connecting with other men through touch and by sharing our life-journeys together. Through exercises created to facilitate bonding and intimate exchange, we use the healing power of eros to pay close attention to each other in nourishing and profound ways. Heart-Centered Touch is a communal gift-exchange with the intention of personal growth and sensual/spiritual evolution among men. You will want to learn and grow with us in our nakedness. It’s fun, exciting and fulfilling!
